Anthracite

My coffee is bitter
but I like that

No one else is on the beach
its an early new day

Transient waves are tireless
eager to get to me

Like a forward pack
with no one else to play

Little beasts scuttle for cover
as their daily Tsunami comes in

I mean no harm
chuckle the waves

My coffee is gone
I think today will be awesome
