Anthracite

I barged through the door
at home tie still firm
and I clapped and danced

I smiled and laughed
I said hello to the fish
flipping and dancing with me

and I spun arms wide
laughed again and did the jig
smiling started to ache

then I stopped
preplexed, not knowing
why was I happy

should I be
am I allowed
well frankly

I don’t care
yeah
