more thoughts on Gods
All this talk of Gods makes me sigh
for the real reason always seems to slip away
because a God is only a tool
to wave as a weapon
the rains didn’t come
you angered the God
its all your fault
and you’ll be punished
we are the messengers
this is how you must live
or you will go to hell
your irreverence noted
and we are blessed with gold
and robes and houses
and food because we worship God
not you, you, you irreligionist!
but the only God to be feared
is the fabricated monster
of mean slithery men
to promote fear
for control
