So the purpose is to be strong
survive and be

what exactly?
once you have finished being whatever it is
what then?

then asking this, at your peak
standing alone after a study of life
you feel worn out and forgotten

not part of the cycle anymore
you are in wonderment
of change and wrinkles

worthless self pity
as you look at time
hopelessness of the fight

you will never be a God
age takes with no manners
please don’t act so surprised

accept my shape of things
not happy with the outcome
but happy to be wiser

I am not a shiny graphic novel
but a beautiful fulfilling story
written in an ugly font

Heaviness inside is felt by all at a time
no one is special, no one is different
pleading for solace is arrogant
and in the end
wasteful

admittance of such things
should be done in silence
because it is selfish
and in the end
spiteful

may be all there is at hand
